I evaluated the 2018–2023 programme of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Thessaloniki, assessing its relevance, impact and sustainability and generating lessons for the organisation’s next programming cycle. The evaluation used a mixed-methods approach combining stakeholder interviews and participatory workshops to capture different perspectives on the programme’s achievements, challenges and wider contribution. Beyond assessing past performance, the process was deliberately designed as an opportunity for organisational learning and forward-looking reflection. The final analysis brought together evidence and stakeholder perspectives and translated them into practical recommendations aimed at strengthening future programming, strategic focus and impact.
