I designed and co-facilitated an all-staff workshop for the European External Action Service’s Directorate for Strategic Communication and Foresight (SG.STRAT), bringing together colleagues from its three divisions. The process focused on strengthening cross-team connections, building alignment around a new mission statement and exploring how organisational structures and working practices could better support the Directorate’s ambitions. Participatory methods included cross-team conversations, a physical spectrum exercise to surface different perspectives on the mission, and facilitated group work on collaboration, working methods, organisational belonging and collective added value. The workshop translated staff perspectives into concrete ideas for strengthening cooperation and effectiveness across the Directorate.
