I designed and facilitated the Democratic Tech Assembly, a strategic convening for members of the Democratic Tech Alliance, a European coalition bringing together MEPs, civil society organisations, think tanks, experts and businesses working towards a technology ecosystem rooted in democratic values and the public interest. The programme combined plenary moderation, a World Café to map members’ initiatives and opportunities for collaboration, and parallel workshops on policy priorities and communications narratives. The process enabled members to better understand each other’s work, surface areas of complementarity, discuss where the Alliance could create distinctive value and translate shared political priorities into concrete opportunities for collaboration and collective action.
